Is there a difference between life coaching and therapy?
YES.
The most significant difference is that therapy goes back in time to reveal patterns and events (trauma included) that may have led to coping methods that no longer serve the individual: this may include eating disorders, addiction, depression, anxiety, sex addiction, shopping, etc. There’s a lot of work around childhood.
Coaching is getting clear on what is true for you in the present moment and a visioning towards the future. When it comes to your relationships, work and family life, your health, your emotional well-being, are you showing up the way you want to? Or do you want/need to develop more self-compassion, vulnerability, insight and creativity? Coaching moves you forward.

Why Coaching?
Coaching has been around for decades but has recently experienced an uptick of interest amongst potential coaches and clients. Coaching is practiced from the Executive Boardroom and the Federal Government to the Community Organization and the individual. I have seen legitimate results for people who have been willing to look at themselves with honesty and curiosity and a willingness to shed the parts of life based on old, tired patterns and conditioning from the past that no longer serves the life they want to create.

Who benefits from transformational coaching?
Anybody who is motivated to make a change, or maybe is in the midst of a transition or crossroads in their life and doesn't know what to do, will benefit from coaching.

I want to learn more before I commit.
No problem. I offer a 30-minute free Discovery Session via Zoom before we begin any life coaching packages. During this first session I will learn more about you and your goals for coaching and discuss how I can support you. After that call, if you’d like to move forward with a coaching program with me, we will discuss your best package options.

What if I can't meet every week?
The best effects of the coaching will be experienced with a consistent, weekly model. I am open to bi-weekly sessions on a case by case basis.

Do you work with couples?
My coaching is meant to be 1:1. We can address relationship challenges during our 1:1 coaching sessions.

Do you work with young adults?
YES! I love to work with young adults who are open to learning new thought patterns that can change their path into a joyful, positive, powerful one. We can narrow down all the many possibilities in front of them and point them in the direction that aligns with their superpowers.
